28th Ion Channel Meeting

Since 1989, the "Association Canaux Ioniques" organizes a yearly meeting which aims at gathering the international scientific community working on all aspects of ion channels. This meeting allows academics, students, as well as scientists from the pharmaceutical industry to share their latest advances in a relaxed but nonetheless studious atmosphere.

Owing to the fundamental role ion channels play in biology, this meeting attracts about 130 people every year from different scientific backgrounds and countries. Every year, particular focuses are ascribed to specific hot topics encompassing broad aspects of ion channel research, from the fundamental research (biophysics, physiological regulation etc.) to the clinical research (channelopathies, drug screening, therapeutical strategies).
