The MEA-INSERT is used directly in the Multi Electrode Array cavity to allow for controlled perfusion during experiments. The insert is designed to reduce fluid volume for increased perfusion results. The insert is made from a non-toxic material and is autoclavable. In addition to the perfusion and aspiration ports, the design also includes a fluid overflow dam as well as two holes designed to help remove the insert from the Multi Electrode Array cavity.
