MEA-Systems
The Microelectrode Array (MEA)-System with PCI data acquisition card is a compact and flexible tool for in vitro experiments.
It consists of a computer with preinstalled PCI data acquisition card, a MEA amplifier, microelectrode arrays (MEAs), and a temperature controller.
You can place cell and tissue preparations from heart, brain, and muscle on the MEA and record the electrophysiological signals with the MEA amplifier. The signals are then analyzed with the included software MC_Rack.
The modular principle offers various possibilities for a setup extension with perfusion or stimulation devices. The MEA-System is an easy and straightforward solution to apply electrophysiological techniques for drug screening and basic research. Over 500 publications in scientific journals prove its versatility and reliability. However, it is important, that you think about from how many electrodes you want to record from and how many amplifiers you want to use at the same time.
A standard microelectrode array has 60 electrodes. You need one amplifier to record from that. But you can also use two amplifiers to record from 2 MEAs using only 30 electrodes each. Or do you want to use 4 amplifiers simultaneously? The data acquisition card can handle up to 128 channels simultaneously. We certainly have a configuration according to your specific needs.
